WaarDelivery ("we", "our", "the app") is a delivery app operated for users in Syria. This policy explains what information we collect through the WaarDelivery mobile app, why we collect it, and how it's handled.

Information We Collect

• Phone number. Used to create your account and sign you in via a one-time code (OTP). We do not use passwords.
• Location. With your permission, we use your device's precise or approximate location to set your delivery address, show nearby stores, and track order delivery progress.
• Order and purchase history. Details of the stores, products, and orders you place, so you can track current and past orders.
• Photos. If you choose to upload a photo (for example, a profile picture), we access the image you select from your device.
• Push notification token. A device identifier used to deliver order-status notifications to your phone.
• Basic device and app diagnostics. Standard technical data (such as crash logs) used to keep the app stable.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To process and deliver your orders, and let you track them in real time
• To send you order-status and service notifications
• To provide customer support
• To maintain the security and reliability of the app

Data Sharing

We share order details (such as your delivery address and items ordered) with the store and delivery courier fulfilling that specific order — this is necessary to complete the delivery. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging, Cloud Functions) as our backend infrastructure provider to store and process the data described above.

Data Retention

We retain your account and order data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time using the contact details below.

Your Choices

• You can deny or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings — some features (like automatic address detection) will then require manual entry.
• You can disable notifications in your device settings.
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

WaarDelivery is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use industry-standard measures, including Firebase's built-in security infrastructure and access rules, to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
